No Injuries as Gunmen Open Fire at Tour Bus near Jordan’s Petra
No people were injured when unidentified gunmen opened fire on Saturday on a tourist bus traveling near Jordan's ancient city of Petra, reported the government-owned newspaper al-Rai and Ammon news agency.
Al-Rai, quoting a security official, said no passengers were on board but the bus was damaged by the gunfire.
Ammon said the bus carried tour guides.
The bus belongs to Petra local authorities, both sources said.
A probe has since been opened in the incident.
