Moroccan artist Najwa al-Haythami has launched a new exhibition at the Contemporary Art Hall in Tangier, introducing a new interesting experience that reflects the transformation of her ideas and style in different causes.

The works of al-Haythami, who partook in many successful individual and collective exhibitions in and outside Morocco, feature private words, ‘careful’ look, and ‘travels’ in a changing world in which opinions diversify, and views and ideas overlap.

Al-Haythami’s works go beyond the ubiquitous themes, and familiar academic arts. Her paintings express an ‘artistic ego’ that doesn’t commit to a specific aspect, rule, or control. According to the artist, this ‘artistic ego’ meets her developed mental and human sense, and expresses her symbolizing, meaningful messages.

According to one artistic critic, al-Haythami is like a chemical artist who turns her energy into a real creativity, not only in paintings, but also in her iconic sculptures; her works are an aesthetic synonym of light, and this is what really lures visitors.
