Secretary General of the Arab League Ahmed Aboul Gheit strongly condemned the terrorist attack that took place near Moscow on Friday.
He described the attack as an act that cannot be justified under any pretext.
In a statement, Aboul Gheit expressed his deepest condolences to the Russian government and the families of the victims of the attack and also wished a speedy recovery to the injured.

Camouflage-clad gunmen opened fire with automatic weapons at concertgoers near Moscow on Friday, killing at least 60 people and injuring 145 in an attack claimed by ISIS.

In the deadliest attack in Russia since the 2004 Beslan school siege, gunmen sprayed civilians with bullets just before Soviet-era rock group "Picnic" was to perform to a full house at the 6,200-seat the Crocus City Hall just west of the capital.

US Central Command (CENTCOM) on Saturday said it had carried out a precision airstrike in Syria, targeting and killing a senior leader in an Al-Qaeda affiliate.

CENTCOM said it killed Muhammed Yusuf Ziya Talay, the senior military leader of Hurras al-Din (HaD), an Al-Qaeda affiliate, Reuters reported.

"As we have said in the past, we will continue to relentlessly pursue these terrorists in order to defend our homeland, and US, allied, and partner personnel in the region," said Gen. Michael Erik Kurilla, CENTCOM commander.
