Saudi Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz has met with US Special Envoy for Yemen Tim Lenderking in Riyadh.

During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in Yemen, and reviewed joint efforts to support ways to reach a comprehensive political solution to the Yemeni crisis.

Saudi and US officials attended the meeting.

Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah received on Saturday a telephone call from US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

They discussed the escalation in the region, developments in Lebanon, and efforts being exerted in this regard.

Earlier, Prince Faisal received his French counterpart Jean-Noël Barrot in Riyadh for talks on Lebanon.

They also reviewed bilateral relations between their countries and exchanged views on regional and international developments.
