Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah took part on Sunday in a coordination meeting of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) foreign ministers on the sidelines of the 78th United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The FMs discussed means to bolster joint cooperation and coordination between Gulf countries.
They also tackled developments in the Gulf and on the regional and international scenes and efforts exerted towards them.
GCC Secretary General Jasem Mohamed AlBudaiwi also took part in the meeting.
The ministers underlined the importance of boosting cooperation with international organizations with the aim of bolstering global security and peace.
