The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom's strong condemnation of the targeting of the World Central Kitchen convoy in the Gaza Strip, describing the attack as a systematic continuation of the Israeli occupation's crimes and violations of international humanitarian law.
The ministry also extended the Kingdom's sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, reiterating Saudi Arabia's firm rejection of the targeting of missions and relief organizations and their workers, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The Kingdom called on the international community to play its role in halting these violations and protecting unarmed civilians and workers in humanitarian and relief organizations, as well as working on delivering more urgent humanitarian aid to avoid aggravating the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, the ministry added.
