Saudi Arabia’s Supreme Court called on Saturday on Muslims across Saudi Arabia to sight the crescent moon of the month of Shawwal on Monday evening.

It said whoever sights the crescent moon with the naked eye or through binoculars must report to the nearest court and register their testimony.

The sighting of the Shawwal crescent moon marks the end of the holy fasting month of Ramadan.
