Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, sent a written message to Tonga’s Prime Minister Hu’akavemeiliku Siaosi Sovaleni.
Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Cabinet Member, and Climate Envoy Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir delivered the message in Nukuʻalofa on Wednesday during a meeting with the Tongan PM.
Al-Jubeir conveyed the greetings and best wishes of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and of the Crown Prince to the Tongan prime minister and their wishes for further progress and prosperity to the government and people of Tonga.
The two officials reviewed ties between their countries, ways to boost cooperation in environment and climate, and other topics of common interest.
Non-resident Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to the Kingdom of Tonga Sultan Bin Khuzaim attended the meeting.
