Saudi Arabia strongly condemned on Monday Israeli forces for bombing of houses in Beit Lahia, in the northern Gaza Strip, and a settler incursion into Al-Aqsa Mosque courtyards in Jerusalem.

A Foreign Ministry statement said the Kingdom reiterated its denunciation of the continued flagrant violations of international law and international humanitarian law by Israeli forces.

It called on the international community, particularly permanent members of the United Nations Security Council, to hold Israeli forces accountable for their ongoing violations of Muslim holy sites and against innocent civilians in the State of Palestine, demanding an immediate ceasefire.
