Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz chaired at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh on Monday the King Abdulaziz Foundation's 49th Board of Directors meeting, reported the Saudi Press Agency.
The Board issued a number of resolutions concerning the Foundation's works and activities, including the development of King Salman Prize for Studies and Research of the History of the Arabian Peninsula.
After the meeting, Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage, delivered to the King the Sharjah International Award for Cultural Heritage in the field of best practices for the preservation of the cultural heritage.
