Saudi Arabia Witnesses Continued Drop in Virus Cases

Coronavirus infections are declining in Saudi Arabia with the Health Ministry registering 898 new cases on Tuesday.

In a daily briefing on the outbreak, it said that the tally has reached 316,670.

It reported 718 more recoveries, raising the total to 291,514.

Fatalities climbed to 3,929 after 32 more people succumbed to the disease.

Saudi Arabia's King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) dispatched on Saturday the seventh relief plane to Lebanon from Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport.

The aircraft is carrying essential supplies, including food, medical aid, and shelter material, to assist the Lebanese people during the ongoing crisis.

The humanitarian initiative is in line with the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

The Kingdom’s assistance to Lebanon to alleviate the suffering of the people affected by the current situation reflects its commitment to humanitarian principles.
