Saudi to Host Global Artificial Intelligence Summit Under Patronage of Crown Prince

The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) will organize a two-day Global Artificial Intelligence Summit (GAIS) on October 21 under the patronage of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense.

GAIS, which will be held under the title: "AI for the Good of Humanity", aims to build dialogue on the recovery from the coronavirus pandemic or the trends that shape the field of artificial intelligence.

Some strategic considerations necessary to establish an effective and influential system for artificial intelligence will be discussed during the summit.

The summit will bring together international and regional decision-makers, experts, and specialists from the public and private sectors.

The 22nd Saudi relief plane, operated by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), has arrived at Beirut Rafik Hariri International Airport. The flight delivered critical aid, including food, shelter materials, and medical supplies, to support those in need, the Saudi Press Agency said.
The assistance is in keeping with Saudi Arabia's historic role in supporting the brotherly Lebanese people in times of crisis.
