Saudi Arabia will celebrate its 91st National Day on September 23.
Cities across the Kingdom are preparing to celebrate the occasion, with many government and corporate buildings decorated in green, which reflects the Saudi identity.
Jeddah city began celebrating the event on Sunday by launching an air show performed by the Saudi Hawks of the Royal Air Force Display Team.
Celebrations will reach their peak on Thursday, which has been declared a national holiday.
Diriyah city, the Saudi state’s first capital, will organize several national celebrations, such as a performance by the royal band and a parade for horsemen and camels.
National Day will be an occasion to showcase the mega development projects implemented and initiatives launched over the past few years, such as the Red Sea Project, NEOM, The Line, Saudi Green Initiative, Riyadh Metro, the National Renewable Energy Program, Shaheen Sat satellite, Hyperloop project for rapid transport, Qiddiya and the Historic Diriyah Development Program.
The logo for the occasion has incorporated many colors that represent growth, security, ambition, loyalty, wisdom, determination, success and optimism, which represent Vision 2030.
