Renowned Lebanese soprano Majida El Roumi mesmerized her fans at her first concert in Riyadh that was organized by Rotana and is part of the Riyadh Season.

"We have come to send a message of love to the Kingdom, which was and still is a sanctuary that embraces Lebanese talent, excellence and creativity," said Roumi during the concert that was held at the Mohammed Abdo Arena in Boulevard Riyadh City on Friday.

"I am a citizen of Lebanon, and I send a message of loyalty to Saudi Arabia, which is dear to all of our hearts, and beloved by our people. We have the utmost respect for its leadership."

She also addressed the Lebanese fans in attendance: "You are not estranged. You are with your brothers, who will take care of you. We thank God for this blessing and your presence here."

"I am saddened at having waited 46 years for the new, free, and independent Lebanon to be born and we are still waiting," she lamented.

Roumi sang her own classics, as well as others by legends like Abdel Halim Hafez.

For her last song, she carried the flags of Saudi Arabia and Lebanon as she performed "Beirut Sitt Al-Dunya", which left her fans going wild.
