Secretary General of Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa expressed his condolences to Algeria over the victims and people injured by forest fires that swept the country.

He expressed full solidarity with the government and people of Algeria, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.

Thirty-seven people were killed and 183 injured in the wildfires.

The wildfires were burning in mountainous areas and the victims were from the provinces of Al Taref, and Setif, in the eastern part of the arid and semi-arid country, Africa's largest.

A year ago, at least 65 were killed by wildfires in the Kabylie region.

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has sent a cable of congratulations to Arab Republic of Egypt President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on the 6th of October anniversary.
King Salman wished El-Sisi continued good health and happiness, and the government and people of Egypt steady progress and prosperity.

For his part, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, also sent a similar cable to Sisi, wishing him continued good health and happiness, and the government and people of Egypt steady progress and prosperity.
