The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday strongly condemned the attack on the Saudi hospital in the city of El-Fasher in Sudan.

The attack resulted in the death and injury of several people, violating international and humanitarian laws, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

The Kingdom reiterated its rejection of these violations and emphasized the critical need to protect health and humanitarian workers, SPA said.

It urged self-restraint and the avoidance of targeting civilians, calling for adherence to the commitments made in the Jeddah Declaration of Commitment to Protect the Civilians of Sudan, issued on May 11, 2023.

Saudi Arabia also extended its deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the families of the victims, wishing the injured speedy recovery.
