The Foreign Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) held Wednesday the 154th Preparatory Ministerial Council meeting of the GCC Supreme Council in Riyadh.

The meeting was chaired by the Foreign Minister of Oman, Badr al-Busaidi, Chairman of the current session of the GCC Ministerial Council, with the participation of GCC Secretary-General Naif Falah al-Hajraf, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, and GCC Foreign Ministers.

The meeting discussed enhancing cooperation and joint coordination between the GCC countries, and the latest developments in the region and the world.

The officials also addressed the agenda of the Riyadh-Gulf-Chinese Summit for Cooperation and Development, which will be attended by Chinese President Xi Jinping, along with the GCC leaders.

Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met on Wednesday with Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah.

The two sides reviewed the deep-rooted historical ties between the two nations and explored avenues for enhancing bilateral cooperation across various fields. They also discussed regional and international developments.

The meeting was attended by officials from both sides.
