Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned on Tuesday against going back to the 2015 nuclear deal with Iran, describing the country as a huge threat to the world.
"We must not go back to the dangerous nuclear deal with Iran, because a nuclear Iran is an existential threat to the state of Israel and a great threat to the security of the entire world,” Netanyahu said.
He brought up Iran in a speech to his Likud party after being asked to form a government following the country's recent election.
Israel is concerned about the Biden administration's readiness to enter into new negotiations with Iran to revive the multilateral deal that restricted Tehran's nuclear weapons.
