Saudi Minister of Health Fahd bin Abdurrahman Al-Jalajel carried out on Tuesday several comprehensive inspection tours to review health system services at the holy sites in Makkah ahead of the Hajj.

He visited the Makkah Health Cluster, healthcare facilities in Arafat and Mina in Makkah, and the headquarters of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority.

The tours were made to make sure that the pilgrims will receive the best services during their holy journey.

The minister inaugurated the National Center for Health Crisis and Disaster Management in the holy sites and inspected health facilities at the Mina Al-Wadi Hospital, Mina Emergency Hospital and several private sector facilities.

The minister's visit reflects the great attention given by the government of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to serving pilgrims to the fullest extent.

It also aligns with the objectives of the Health Sector Transformation Program and Saudi Vision 2030.

Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani said on Thursday the crisis in the Middle East is a "collective genocide," and that establishing a Palestinian State is the only way to ensure peace in the region.
"It has become crystal clear that what is happening is genocide", he said during the Asia Cooperation Dialogue summit in Doha.
The Emir emphasized that there can be no peace in the region without the establishment of a Palestinian state.
The Qatari Emir also condemned Israeli air strikes and military operations "against the brotherly Lebanese Republic".
Israel launched an assault a year ago on the Gaza Strip after Hamas militants attacked southern Israeli towns.
This week, Israel launched a ground incursion in Lebanon against Hezbollah, which has been firing into Israel in what it says is solidarity with the Palestinians.
