Yemeni Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani met on Tuesday in Aden Director of the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) office in Aden Eng. Ahmed Madkhali.
Zindani commended Saudi Arabia's leading role in supporting Yemen, describing SDRPY as a strategic partner in implementing the country's development priorities and supporting economic recovery, SPA reported.
Madkhali reviewed the program's projects in Aden and other governorates, including oil derivatives support provided by the Kingdom to operate more than 70 power generation plants across Yemen.
SDRPY has undertaken 300 development projects and initiatives, some completed and others underway, across eight sectors: education, health, transport, water, energy, agriculture and fisheries, development programs, and capacity building for government institutions.
