Riyadh to Host 5th Session of Arab-Chinese Experts Meeting in Libraries, Information

Riyadh will host on Monday the 5th session of the Arab-Chinese Library and Information Experts' meeting within the framework of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum (CASCF).
Under the theme "Library Services Transformation Given Changing of Information Environment", the event will be organized by the Information, Documentation, and Translation Department of the General Secretariat of the Arab League in collaboration with the King Abdulaziz Public Library (KAPL) and the National Library of China.
The KAPL will host the session from December 4 to 7.
It aims to activate the mechanisms of Arab-Chinese cooperation in the field of libraries and information within the CASCF. It also seeks to enhance the role of Arab and Chinese libraries in enriching the content of the Arab-Chinese digital library.

The children's section of the King Abdulaziz Public Library has recently presented "Kahila," a captivating theatrical play designed to introduce young audiences to the significance of camels in Saudi Arabian history and culture.
"Kahila," an engaging production aligned with the Ministry of Culture's Year of the Camel celebration, delighted children and their families with a seamless blend of art and heritage.

According to SPA, the play creatively presented informative content about camels in an entertaining and age-appropriate theatrical format.
Through lively songs and dynamic dances, the talented team effectively conveyed the enduring value of camels in Saudi heritage.

The play highlighted camels as symbols of patience, strength, and generosity, offering children an enjoyable and educational performance to learn about this important aspect of their cultural heritage.
