Bujairi Terrace, the premium distinctive dining destination in the heart of the historical Diriyah, has received the Architectural and Urban Creativity Award from Riyadh Municipality.
Opened in December 2022, Bujairi Terrace attracted over one million visitors in its first six months of operation, according to SPA.
Spanning 15,000 sqm, the dining district features over 20 globally renowned restaurants and cafés, including four Michelin-starred brands—Chez Bruno, Tatel, Hakkasan, and Long Chim. It also offers a thoughtfully curated blend of local Saudi cuisine and international flavors.
As a dynamic mixed-use developer, Diriyah is reshaping urban planning to turn Saudi Arabia's historic birthplace into a vibrant new capital of culture, entertainment, and education.
Diriyah's ambitious goals, aligned with Saudi Vision 2030, aim to attract 50 million visits annually, generate over 178,000 direct jobs, and contribute more than US$18.6 billion directly to the national GDP by 2023.

Hail Region pavilion at the Ministry of Interior’s Security Oasis exhibition, part of the 10th King Abdulaziz Camel Festival in Al-Sayahid, features heritage artifacts that reflect the region's renowned hospitality.

The display includes ancient trays and copperware from nearly seventy years ago.

According to SPA, these traditional food preparation and serving vessels have garnered significant interest from visitors. They document daily life in old Hail and its deep-rooted social traditions, particularly in gatherings and special occasions.

The pavilion aims to connect visitors to Hail's history and social legacy, fostering appreciation for national heritage and ensuring cultural preservation for future generations.

The Civil Affairs Agency is displaying historical documents, including the earliest official identification papers issued to citizens, at the 10th King Abdulaziz Camel Festival in Al-Sayahid, north of Riyadh.

As part of the Ministry of Interior’s Security Oasis exhibition, the agency is presenting examples of national ID cards and other official documents, highlighting how these documents have evolved, SPA reported.

Visitors can also see how old or damaged documents are carefully restored and repaired using advanced technologies and specialized equipment.

The Jazan Festival 2026 will launch on Thursday in a carnival anticipated by thousands of visitors from within the region and beyond.

The festival will open with a grand celebratory parade starting at 3:45 p.m. along the Jazan city waterfront, signaling the start of an entertainment and cultural season that will extend for several months, according to SPA.

This year’s festival offers an unprecedented experience that brings together the charm of the region’s unique geographic diversity, from its towering green mountains and golden beaches to its picturesque islands, alongside the authenticity of its rich heritage, complemented by modern touches in entertainment programs designed to meet the aspirations of all age groups.

Performing arts inspired by local folklore will add an authentic dimension, while moving installations will flow in harmonious rhythm.

Completing the visual spectacle, integrated light and sound shows will create an enchanting atmosphere before the festivities conclude with a dazzling fireworks display lighting up the Jazan sky in vibrant colors.
