The King Salman bin Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority yesterday launched the "Naylat Camp", a 45-day event held within its borders in the Hail region.
Nestled in the breathtaking Naylat area, known for its stunning natural beauty – soaring mountains, golden sands, clear skies, and tranquility – the camp offers a unique blend of adventure and relaxation, the Saudi Press Agency said on Monday.
Visitors can enjoy a range of activities, including camel and horse riding, challenging hiking trails, awe-inspiring stargazing experiences, and exploration of fascinating archaeological and historical sites on the reserve.
The camp boasts facilities designed to enhance the visitor experience, with a focus on sustainable ecotourism.
The authority aims to promote sustainable ecotourism by showcasing the region's natural beauty and encouraging responsible travel, raise environmental awareness by highlighting the importance of preserving natural sites and biodiversity, support the local community by providing seasonal job opportunities and contributing to local development.
