The 13th Conference of Culture Ministers in the Islamic World, hosted by Saudi Arabia, concluded on Thursday in the port city of Jeddah with the adoption of a declaration.
The conference was co-organized by the Saudi Ministry of Culture and the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) under the theme, "The Impact of Culture on Social and Economic Development."
The conference ended with the adoption of final statement, the "Jeddah Declaration," which included a unified vision to enhance the role of culture in social and economic development, protect Islamic heritage, address global challenges, and make recommendations to strengthen cooperation among Islamic countries in cultural fields.
