Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, accompanied on Tuesday US President Donald Trump on a tour of Diriyah.

The tour included the At-Turaif Historic District, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the birthplace of the Saudi state.

The Crown Prince and Trump watched a traditional Saudi folk performance and posed for a commemorative photo in front of Salwa Palace, the former seat of governance during the First Saudi State.

The tour also featured a presentation on the Diriyah Project.

Trump had arrived in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday – the first stop of a tour of the Gulf that will take him to Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.

Speaking at the Saudi-US Investment Forum earlier, he hailed the partnership between Riyadh and Washington, saying their relationship "has been a bedrock of security and prosperity."

Saudi Arabia has inaugurated its pavilion at the 2025 Seoul International Book Fair held at the COEX Convention and Exhibition Center in the South Korea capital from June 18 to 22.

The Saudi delegation is led by the Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission.

Commission CEO Abdullatif Abdulaziz Al Wasel stressed that Saudi Arabia’s participation reflects its growing presence in global cultural events. He said the initiative underscores the Kingdom’s commitment to fostering partnerships with international publishing houses and building cultural bridges.

The Saudi delegation includes representatives from the King Abdulaziz Public Library, King Fahd National Library, the Publishing Association, and local publishing houses, as well as the King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language, Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, and Nashir Publishing and Distribution Company.
