Saudi Arabia’s Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission is preparing to host the Riyadh International Book Fair 2025, held under the theme “Riyadh Reads” from October 2 - 11 at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University in Riyadh.
The fair will feature more than 2,000 local and international publishing houses and agencies representing over 25 countries and will welcome leading writers, intellectuals, and cultural figures from within the Kingdom and abroad, cementing its status as one of the most prominent international cultural platforms in the Arab world.
Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission Chief Executive Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Alwasel stated that the Riyadh International Book Fair 2025 is one of the largest cultural platforms supporting reading and knowledge in the region.
He emphasized that the fair embodies the vision of the Kingdom’s wise leadership and reflects its continuous attention and unlimited support for culture and cultural activity.
Dr. Alwasel also noted that the fair reinforces the Kingdom’s position as a key contributor to shaping the regional and global cultural landscape.
The fair continues to play its role in supporting the commission’s efforts by providing a nurturing environment that encourages cultural creativity, strengthens the local publishing industry, and enables Saudi authors to showcase their work. This includes the “Saudi Author’s Corner,” dedicated to self-published writers, where hundreds of diverse titles covering literature, knowledge, and culture will be on display.
