The Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with the Saudi Artisanal Company, has consolidated all services and products from the cultural ecosystem's handicrafts sector onto a single website, which includes content from the Year of Handicrafts initiative, aiming to simplify access for those interested in the sector, SPA reported.
The website features content from several key entities, including the Heritage Commission, which provides licenses to artisans through the Abde'a platform; the Cultural Development Fund, which offers financial and developmental support to empower artisans and entrepreneurs; the Royal Institute of Traditional Arts, which provides academic programs and specialized training courses; and the Saudi Artisanal Company, which specializes in producing and selling Saudi craft products in both local and international markets.
Beyond a wide range of products available for purchase, the website offers an integrated digital shopping experience. It also provides educational content about Saudi artisans, their workshops, and how they transform cultural heritage into modern, marketable products.
The platform also offers business-focused services, including the design and production of custom products that reflect authentic Saudi identity and can be used as luxury gifts or corporate collectibles for special occasions.
