AlUla is preparing to welcome visitors for the Saudi National Day holiday with a variety of cultural and tourism events, led by the musical and cultural event Azimuth on September 25 and 26.
Part of the AlUla Moments calendar, the event will take place in the historic AlUla Oasis.
Azimuth will combine AlUla's rich heritage with contemporary culture through immersive performances that blend music, light, and creativity. The event will also feature art installations, creative activities, and unique food and beverage experiences, running until the early morning, SPA reported.
In addition to the main event, visitors can enjoy a range of experiences, including sunset tours with stunning views and astronomical tours under AlUla's internationally certified Dark Sky—led by astronomers who will share tales of celestial bodies.
Other activities include guided tours of heritage sites like Hegra, Saudi Arabia's first UNESCO World Heritage Site, and Dadan and Jabal Ikmah, known for their historical inscriptions. Visitors can also tour the iconic Maraya hall, the world's largest mirrored building.
AlUla's culinary scene offers diverse local and international cuisine, from fine dining to food trucks. The city is easily accessible via direct flights to its airport and modern roads connecting it to neighboring cities. Local transportation options include ride-sharing services and dedicated buses to major landmarks.
