The Saudi Heritage Commission recorded 28 violations of the Law of Antiquities, Museums, and Urban Heritage in September 2025, as part of its ongoing efforts to protect cultural heritage sites and artifacts across the Kingdom.
The commission stressed it will continue its vigorous oversight to prevent tampering or encroachment, reminding the public that the law criminalizes unauthorized activities related to heritage sites, artifacts, and their unlicensed possession or display.
The commission urged individuals and digital platforms to adhere to regulations and immediately report any violation through its regional branches, official social media channels, or by calling the unified security operations center at 911.
