The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has been tasked with overseeing the delivery of the aid and organizing a popular donation campaign through the “Sahem” platform.

The campaign is aimed at easing the suffering of the Sudanese people given the crisis they are enduring.

Advisor at the Royal Court and KSrelief Supervisor General, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah, stressed that the assistance emanates from the keenness of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed to stand by the people of Sudanese during their plight.

He expressed his gratitude for their noble stances, which are an extension of the Kingdom’s humanitarian role in standing with the needy across the globe.

He revealed that under the generous directives, relief, humanitarian, and medical aid will be provided to the displaced in Sudan.

Saudi-Egyptian Coordination to Confront Regional Escalation

Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty on Friday telephoned Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan as part of Saudi-Egyptian efforts to preserve regional stability.

“They discussed the serious regional escalation over the past days,” said spokesman for the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigration Ahmed Abo Zeid.

“Abdelatty underlined the need to put an end to the escalation,” he said, adding that he called on major powers, particularly the US, to assume their responsibilities for halting the escalation.

“Abdelatty lauded good ties and strong cooperation between Egypt and Saudi Arabia, voicing Egypt’s keenness to continue having coordination on regional and international challenges,” said Abo Zeid.

The Egyptian Minister also highlighted great efforts exerted by Egypt and Saudi Arabia to settle regional issues and put an end to the Sudanese crisis.

For his part, the Saudi Minister expressed the Kingdom’s keenness to enhance ties and cooperation with Egypt at all levels.
