Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan will visit Tehran in the coming days, informed sources told Asharq Al-Awsat.

He is expected to be there during the opening of the embassy in Tehran after Saudi Arabia and Iran agreed in March, in a deal brokered by China, to re-establish relations.

Prince Faisal is also set to meet with Iranian officials, reports said.

Iran officially reopened its embassy in Saudi Arabia on June 7.
