Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate of Public Security began implementing its plans that organize the movement of Hajj pilgrims on the day of Tarwiyah, reported the Saudi Press Agency on Monday.

The step is being held in coordination with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. Serious security and preventive measures have been taken to ensure the security and safety of the pilgrims.

Pilgrims flocked to Mina on Monday to spend the day of Tarwiyah.

The Saudi leadership has provided security, medical and catering services and means of transportation for pilgrims to facilitate Hajj so that they can perform their rituals with spirituality and tranquility.

The leadership has stressed the importance that government and service agencies strive to implement everything to make their tasks successful during the Hajj.
