Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz sent on Tuesday a verbal message to President of Malawi Lazarus Chakwera.
The message focused on bilateral relations between their countries and ways to bolster joint cooperation.
The message was delivered by Advisor at the Royal Court Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Qattan during a meeting with Chakwera in the Malawian capital Lilongwe.
Chakwera underscored his country’s full support to Riyadh’s bid to host Expo 2030. He also welcomed Saudi Arabia’s hosting of the First Saudi-African Summit and the Fifth Arab-African Summit later this year.
For his part, Qattan conveyed to his host the greetings of the Saudi leadership to the government and people of Malawi, wishing them progress and prosperity.
Qattan later met with Malawian Foreign Minister Nancy Tembo, who also expressed support for Riyadh’s bid to host Expo 2030.
