A second Saudi relief plane departed Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport on Sunday, heading to Benghazi, Libya, carrying 40 tons of food assistance to be distributed to Libyans affected by the devastating floods.

The aid is sent at instructions from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

A King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) team is managing the distribution of relief aid in coordination with the Libyan Red Crescent.

The aid is testimony to the noble humanitarian role played by Saudi Arabia, which stands by friendly countries in times of crisis and hardship.

Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, met with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on Tuesday at Al-Ittihadiya Palace in Cairo, where the two leaders held a bilateral meeting and an expanded session of talks.

President El-Sisi welcomed the Crown Prince to his second home, Egypt, while the Crown Prince expressed his appreciation for the warm hospitality and gracious reception extended to him and his accompanying delegation.

The two leaders reviewed the strategic bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to further develop them across various fields, SPA reported.

They also discussed several issues concerning the Arab and Islamic worlds, developments in the Middle East, particularly matters related to regional security and stability, including maritime security and freedom of navigation, and ways to coordinate efforts in this regard.

The meeting was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah; Minister of State, Cabinet Member, and National Security Adviser Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban; Minister of State and Cabinet Member for Shura Council Affairs Dr. Essam bin Saad bin Saeed; and Secretary to HRH the Crown Prince Dr. Bandar bin Obaid Al-Rasheed, and several high-ranking officials from the Egyptian side.

Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman arrived in Egypt on Tuesday, at the direction of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, on a working visit.

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi was among those who received him upon his arrival.

The Saudi Crown Prince and the Egyptian President will discuss ways to strengthen the two countries’ fraternal bilateral relations, as well as issues of mutual interest.

MWL Condemns Continued Houthi Militia Attacks on Saudi Arabia

The Muslim World League (MWL) strongly condemned the continued aggression by the terrorist Houthi militia against the Kingdom, particularly its targeting of the cities of Khamis Mushait, Abha, and Taif with ballistic missiles and drones, resulting in injuries to civilians and damage to several residential homes and vehicles, SPA reported.

In a statement issued by the General Secretariat, MWL Secretary-General and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa reiterated his condemnation of these attacks that violate religious values, as well as international and humanitarian laws and norms.

He also reaffirmed full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its support for all measures taken to deter aggression and safeguard the Kingdom's security, as well as the safety of its citizens and residents.
