Saudi King Receives Written Message from Transitional President of Burkina Faso

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, received a written message from Transitional President Ibrahim Traore of Burkina Faso concerning the relationship between the two countries and ways to improve coordination on matters of mutual interest.

During his visit to Riyadh on Sunday, the High Representative and Special Adviser to the Transitional President of Burkina Faso handed a message to Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah.

The two sides discussed regional and international issues and their efforts to address them.

The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, Dr. Saud Al-Sati.

The Secretariat General of the Muslim World League (MWL) on Saturday condemned the Israeli military attack on Iran, cautioning against the danger and serious repercussions of escalation.
The MWL urged the international community to assume its responsibilities and work to solve these conflicts and their repercussions, address their underlying causes, and remain vigilant for their early warnings.

Also, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi issued a statement condemning the Israeli military targeting of Iran, describing this action as a violation of Iran’s sovereignty and a breach of international laws and norms.
He reaffirmed the council's rejection of these military operations and called on all parties to exercise maximum restraint to avoid the consequences of continued military conflicts in the region.
Albudaiwi also called on the international community to assume its responsibilities and work to de-escalate the situation.
