Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah has held a meeting with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken in Amman on the sidelines of the Arab-US meeting.
The two ministers discussed ways to support efforts to halt the escalation of military operations in Gaza and its surroundings. They also discussed the efforts made to allow humanitarian, relief, and medical aid into Gaza to prevent the worsening of the humanitarian crisis.
The Saudi Minister emphasized the Kingdom's strong opposition to the forced displacement of Gaza residents and condemned any targeting of civilians or damage to infrastructure that affects their daily lives.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Director of the General Administration for Policy Planning Prince Dr. Abdullah bin Khalid bin Saud Al-Kabeer, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs Dr. Saud Al-Sati, Saudi Ambassador to Jordan Nayef bin Bandar Al-Sudairi, and Director General of the Foreign Minister's Office Abdulrahman Al-Dawood.

The leadership of Saudi Arabia has sent heartfelt congratulations and well-wishes to Oman on National and to Morocco on the occasion of Independence Day, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Monday.
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, sent separate cables congratulating Sultan of Oman, Haitham bin Tarik, on his country's National Day.
The Saudi leadership wished the sultan of Oman continued good health, and the government and people of Oman steady progress and prosperity, praising the distinguished fraternal relations that bind the two countries.
The Saudi leadership also congratulated King Mohammed VI of the Kingdom of Morocco on his country's Independence Day.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince wished the king of Morocco continued good health and happiness, and the government and people of Morocco steady progress and prosperity.
