Saudi Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and French Minister of the Armed Forces Sébastien Lecornu have held a meeting in Riyadh, where they discussed the latest developments in Gaza and its environs.

Prince Khalid emphasized on Wednesday the urgent need to cease military operations, protect innocent lives, and facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid.

The ministers also discussed strategic relations between the Kingdom and France as well as various aspects of joint cooperation in the military and defense sectors.

They exchanged views on regional and international issues and developments and efforts being made to address them to strengthen security and stability.

The leadership of Saudi Arabia has sent heartfelt congratulations and well-wishes to Oman on National and to Morocco on the occasion of Independence Day, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Monday.
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, sent separate cables congratulating Sultan of Oman, Haitham bin Tarik, on his country's National Day.
The Saudi leadership wished the sultan of Oman continued good health, and the government and people of Oman steady progress and prosperity, praising the distinguished fraternal relations that bind the two countries.
The Saudi leadership also congratulated King Mohammed VI of the Kingdom of Morocco on his country's Independence Day.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince wished the king of Morocco continued good health and happiness, and the government and people of Morocco steady progress and prosperity.
