Saudi Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz received a phone call from Iranian Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Bagheri, the Saudi Press Agency reported Thursday.
During the phone call, the two sides reviewed relations between the two countries in the military and defense fields and discussed other issues of mutual concern, SPA said.

Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani held talks with Egyptian Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly on the margins of the World Economic Forum 2025 in Davos.

They tackled cooperation between their countries and ways of strengthening and developing them, said Qatar's state news agency (QNA).

They discussed means of ensuring the full implementation of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip and the exchange of detainees and prisoners.

Sheikh Mohammed underscored the continued coordination between Qatar and Egypt within the framework of joint mediation that guarantees that the parties implement the ceasefire.

They also reviewed the latest developments in Syria.
