Saudi Commander of the Joint Forces of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen Lieutenant General Mutlaq bin Salem Al-Azima met in Riyadh on Monday Chief of the General Staff of the Republic of Yemen Lieutenant General Saghir Hammoud Aziz.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed aspects of military cooperation and continued support provided by the Joint Forces Command to the Yemeni National Army, SPA reported.

The commander of the Joint Forces stressed the importance of continuing to consolidate the foundations of security and peace in Yemen for the benefit of the brotherly Yemeni people, praising the efforts made by the Yemeni National Army in its mission.

Lieutenant General Aziz expressed his appreciation for the unlimited support that Yemen receives from the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, stressing the importance of joint work to establish security inside Yemen for the benefit and peace of the Yemenis.

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed 120 tents and 290 shelter kits in the Al-Madina and Al-Wadi districts of Yemen’s Marib Governorate, benefiting 290 families, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Monday.
This distribution is part of a project in Yemen securing emergency aid and shelter materials.
The initiative of the Saudi aid agency is part of the Kingdom’s efforts to assist vulnerable individuals and families in Yemen amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis
