The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has directed the performance of the absentee funeral prayer for the late Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

The prayer will take place on Sunday, following the Dhuhr prayer at both the Grand Holy Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah.

The Saudi leadership offered on Saturday its condolences to the Al Sabah family, people of Kuwait and Arab and Islamic nations.

King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed stressed that Saudi Arabia and its people mourn the passing of the Emir with the people of Kuwait.

They wished Kuwait and its people security, stability and prosperity.

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has sent a cable of condolences and sympathy to Indian President Droupadi Murmu on the victims of the floods and landslides in Kerala.
King Salman extended to President Murmu, the families of the deceased, and the Indian people his deepest condolences and sincere sympathy, hoping for the safe return of the missing and swift recovery of the injured.

For his part, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has also sent a cable of condolences and sympathy to Indian President Droupadi Murmu on the victims of the floods and landslides in Kerala.
