The Kuwait government was sworn in to office before the National Assembly on Monday.
On January 4, Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal al-Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah had issued a decree naming Dr. Mohammed Sabah al-Salem Al Sabah as prime minister.
On January 17, another Emiri decree called for the formation of a new 13-member government.
The ministers were sworn in before Sheikh Meshal on the same day.
On Monday, an Emiri decree named Sharida Al-Mousherji as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs.
