Saudi Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz met at the World Defense Show (WDS) 2024 in Riyadh with the UK Defense Secretary, Grant Shapps, SPA said on Sunday.
The two officials discussed the strategic partnership between the two nations and the latest regional and international developments, in addition to matters of mutual interest.
Earlier Prince Khalid bin Salman met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Slovakia, Robert Kalinak.
The ministers highlighted the friendly ties between the two nations, and the ways to promote cooperation at the defense level. They also discussed several regional and international matters.
The meetings were attended by several officials.

Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, performed the Eid al-Fitr prayer on Sunday morning in Makkah alongside worshippers who filled the Grand Mosque and its surrounding courtyards.

Also joining the Crown Prince in the prayer were Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, along with princes, scholars, ministers, and senior officials.

After the prayer, the Crown Prince received the princes, scholars and senior officials who extended their greetings on the occasion of the Eid.

Everyone joined the Crown Prince for a breakfast banquet.
