Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received his Bahraini counterpart Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa in Riyadh on Wednesday.

The officials will chair the third Saudi-Bahraini coordination council that will witness the signing of agreements and approve new initiatives.

Bahraini Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif Al-Zayani praised the dedicated efforts carried out by Saudi Arabia in unifying Arab and Islamic efforts in support of the Palestinian people and stopping the war in Gaza.

He also hailed it for hosting Arab summits and international meetings aimed at bolstering joint cooperation and unifying efforts in confronting all political, security and economic challenges.

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has approved awarding the King Abdulaziz Medal (Third Class) to 200 Saudi citizens in recognition of their major organ donations, whether as living donors or following brain death, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Monday.

Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah received phone calls from Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, and Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ishaq Dar, the Saudi Press Agency said on Monday.

During the call with Safadi, the two ministers discussed the latest regional developments and ongoing coordination efforts to reduce tensions in the region.

The Saudi minister reviewed with his Pakistani counterpart the latest developments regarding the talks held in Islamabad between the United States and Iran and emphasized the importance of continuing diplomatic efforts to restore stability in the region.

Saudi Arabia said on Sunday it had summoned Iraqi Ambassador Safia Al Souhail over what it described as threats targeting ⁠the Kingdom and ⁠other Gulf states from drones ⁠launched from Iraqi territory.

The Saudi Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Undersecretary for Political Affairs Dr. Saud Al-Sati delivered a formal complaint to the Iraqi diplomat, "stressing the Kingdom's condemnation and denunciation of attacks originating from Iraqi territory against the Kingdom and the Gulf states.”

He "emphasized the importance of ⁠Iraq ⁠dealing responsibly with these threats and attacks.”

The statement said that Al-Sati also reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s firm rejection of violations of states’ sovereignty and attempts to threaten the security and stability of the region, stressing that it will take all necessary measures to defend its security and protect its territories.
