Kuwait Bans Unauthorized Gatherings

Kuwait's Interior Ministry said it banned all "unauthorized assembly" after calls voiced by Kuwaiti activists to stage sit-ins on Saturday in support of Gaza.
The Ministry said the decision came upon the directives of Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Acting Minister of Interior Fahd al-Yousef al-Sabah.
The Minister banned all forms of unauthorized gatherings and marches except in accordance with the established laws and regulations.
The Ministry also banned publishing any unauthorized calls for gatherings on social media platforms.
On the other hand, al-Sabah announced a study of plans that will be taken soon to combat and prosecute fake accounts on social media that spread fake news threatening the country’s security .

Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah met in Riyadh on Sunday Chief of Staff to the President of Korea and Presidential Special Envoy Kang Hoon-sik.

During the meeting, they reviewed cooperation relations between the two friendly countries.

They also discussed developments in the region and their repercussions for the regional security and the global economy.

Oman FM Says Success in US-Iran Talks May Require 'Painful Concessions'

Omani Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr al-Busaidi on Sunday called for more talks between Iran and the US and for the ceasefire to be extended, hours after negotiations failed to reach a deal during a high-stakes meeting in Pakistan.

"I urge that the ceasefire be extended and talks continue," Al-Busaidi wrote in a post on X.

"Success may require everyone to make painful concessions, but this is nothing as compared to the pain of failure and war."

Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Albudaiwi met on Sunday in Riyadh Ambassador of Argentina to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Facundo Vila.

The two sides discussed several topics, most notably the relations between the GCC and Argentina and ways to develop and strengthen them to serve mutual interests, according to SPA.

The two sides also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues.
