The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched a food basket project for 2024 in Al-Shihr District of Yemen's Hadramout governorate.
The project coincides with the upcoming holy month of Ramadan and aims to distribute food aid to 4,240 needy families in the area.
The initiative is part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's humanitarian and relief projects, which KSrelief provides to assist countries in need and ensure food security for their citizens.

The Saudi center also continued implementing Al-Amal Charitable Bakery project in the fourth stage in Akkar Governorate and Al-Minieh District in Lebanon.
The project distributed, during the last week, 25,000 bags of bread to needy families of Syrians, Palestinians and the host community living in northern Lebanon, benefiting 125,000 individuals.
This project comes within the efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through KSrelief, to help refugees in various locations.

Saudi Arabia condemned on Sunday the Israeli government’s decision to expand settlements in the occupied Golan Heights “as it continues to sabotage attempts for Syria to restore its security and stability.”

A Foreign Ministry statement called on the international community to condemn these Israeli violations, stressing the need to respect Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The Golan Heights are Syrian Arab lands, it added.

Israel agreed on Sunday to double its population on the Golan Heights.

"Strengthening the Golan is strengthening the State of Israel, and it is especially important at this time. We will continue to hold onto it, cause it to blossom, and settle in it," Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a statement.

Israel captured most of the strategic plateau from Syria in the 1967 Six-Day War, annexing it in 1981.
