Saudi Arabia Condemns Assassination Attempt Targeting Trump

Saudi Arabia condemned on Monday the shooting attack at former US President Donald Trump expressing solidarity with him and his family, the United States and its people.
The Saudi Foreign Ministry rejected in a statement all forms of violence, expressing deepest sympathy with the family of the deceased and wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
On Sunday, Trump was subject to an assassination attempt at a rally in Pennsylvania that left one attendee dead and critically injured two others.
Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi, also condemned the incident, stressing that violence and terrorism can not be justified under any circumstances.
Albudaiwi added that the GCC rejects all forms of violence that endanger international and regional security and peace.
He expressed his deepest sympathy with the former US President wishing him a speedy recovery.

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has sent a cable of congratulations to French President Emmanuel Macron on his country's National Day.
King Salman wished Macron continued good health and happiness and the government and people of France steady progress and prosperity.
He also lauded the distinguished relations between the two friendly countries, which both are keen to enhance in all areas.
For his part, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, has also sent a cable of congratulations to Macron, wishing him continued good health and happiness and the government and people of France steady progress and prosperity.
