Arab Parliament Denounces Terrorist Attack in Mogadishu

The Arab Parliament denounced the terrorist attack in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, which resulted in dozens of casualties, the Saudi Press Agency said on Sunday.
In a statement, the Arab Parliament affirmed solidarity with the Federal Republic of Somalia in its fight against terrorism, stressing its rejection of all forms of terrorism aimed at destabilizing security and stability in the region.
It offered condolences to the government, parliament and people of Somalia, particularly to the families of the victims, and wished speedy recovery to the injured.
On Friday, at least 37 civilians were killed and 212 were injured in an explosion at a popular beach restaurant in the Somali capital.

The two officials discussed bilateral ties and regional developments.
