Saudi Leadership Congratulates India on Independence Day

The Saudi leadership congratulated the President of India on Independence Day, the Saudi Press Agency said Thursday.
India will mark its 75th year of independence on Monday.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, sent separate cables congratulating Indian President Droupadi Murmu on the anniversary of her country's Independence Day.
The two leaders wished the Indian president continued good health and happiness and the government and people of the Republic of India steady progress and prosperity.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, sent a message of condolence and sympathy to Jordanian King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein on the passing of Zaid Samir Al-Rifai, the former prime minister, SPA reported.
In the cable, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques said: "We have learned of the passing of the former prime minister of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Zaid Samir Al-Rifai, may Allah have mercy on him. We extend to Your Majesty and the family of the deceased deep condolences and sincere sympathy. May Allah Almighty bestow His mercy upon him, and protect you from all harm. Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return".

For his part, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud also sent a message of condolence and sympathy to King Abdullah saying: "I have learned about the passing of the former prime minister of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Zaid Samir Al-Rifai, May Allah bestow his mercy upon him. We extend to Your Majesty and the family of the deceased the deepest condolences and sincerest sympathy. I pray to Allah, the Protector, the Most High, and the Competent, to bestow His mercy upon him, and protect you from all harm. Indeed, He is All-Hearing and the Responding One.”
