Saudi Arabia has expressed deep concern regarding the evolving situation in Lebanon, emphasizing the necessity of upholding Lebanon's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The Kingdom has reiterated its commitment to standing by the Lebanese people as they face the challenges arising from the current circumstances, stressing the importance of addressing the humanitarian repercussions, the Saudi Press Agency said on Monday.
In line with its supportive stance toward Lebanon, Saudi Arabia’s leadership has issued directives for the provision of medical and relief assistance to the Lebanese population during these difficult times.
Additionally, Saudi Arabia has called on the international community to fulfill its responsibilities in safeguarding regional security and peace, aiming to protect the region and its inhabitants from the dangers and tragedies of wars.
A wave of Israeli airstrikes across large parts of Lebanon have killed more than 1,030 people — including 156 women and 87 children — in less than two weeks, according to Lebanon’s Health Ministry.
