Saudi Arabia Sends Seventh Relief Plane to Lebanon

Saudi Arabia's King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) dispatched on Saturday the seventh relief plane to Lebanon from Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport.

The aircraft is carrying essential supplies, including food, medical aid, and shelter material, to assist the Lebanese people during the ongoing crisis.

The humanitarian initiative is in line with the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

The Kingdom’s assistance to Lebanon to alleviate the suffering of the people affected by the current situation reflects its commitment to humanitarian principles.

The United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken made two separate phone calls on Thursday with his Saudi and Qatari counterparts, the US Department of State said in a statement.
Blinken’s phone talks with Saudi FM Prince Faisal bin Farhan and Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani focused on efforts to end the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, it said.
